Joe Vogel
mechanic, childhood friend of Gerald and Matt.
After dropping out of high school, Joe joined the family business and worked as a mechanic for several years. He was never very good, and was always more interested in working out.
In the midst of the outbreak, Joe lost both his legs to a horde of zombies. Kevin the robot was able to construct a pair of makeshift bionic legs, leaving Joe with only one organic limb. While most people wouldn't survive such injuries, it is likely that Joe's boundless rage kept him alive.
Joe suffered infection by slag in Vyldain's lair, but miraculously survived thanks to Kevin's newfound healing abilities. The side effects of this experience are yet unknown. After defeating Vyldain, Joe disappeared, never to be seen by Gerald or Jenny again.
