Matthew Belovik
programmer, childhood friend of Joe and Gerald.
Objectively the weirdest of his friend group, Matt is known by his friends for his love of weapons and technology. He is not particularly expressive, but he has quick wits. While Matt is a huge gamer and very computer-savvy, he is also a talented distance runner who placed 4th in the state championship his senior year of high school.
Though he killed a large number of undead during his mission with Gerald, Joe, and TCF personnel, Matt was killed and digested by a slag clod on Krozox. While this should have been the total end of Matt, his form is later used through slag in the Frightened Forest, implying a continuity in the hive mind that extends to the past.
